Christina Mae Myhan, Garcia, Smith was born April 19, 1968 in Dallas, Texas to the union of Edwin B. Myhan of Orange, CA. and Kathy J. Lucille Hayward of Los Angeles, CA. She was the oldest of four children.
Chris made her peaceful transition into heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 12:49 pm at Kaweah Delta hospital in Visalia, California.
Chris leaves to cherish her memory, the loves of her life, husband Donald Craig Smith, three children Taylor (Kristian) Bringard of Grover Beach, CA, Mallorie (Jonathan) Busby, of Oceanside, CA, Jamiun Garcia of Hanford, CA, including the welcoming addition of Don’s children Lance J. Smith of Bentonville, Arkansas and Chelsea L. Smith of Medford, Oregon. Chris was a fabulous “Mimi” to four grandchildren, Noah, Hartlynn, Everly, and Remi, two sisters, Lisa Owens of Visalia, CA, and Summer Peterson of Las Vegas, NV, one brother, Bo Boatman of Lemoore, CA, and her aunt Kim Hayward of Los Angeles, CA whom raised Chris to become the loving adult she was. Chris is also survived by many caring relatives and friends all over the country whom she loved and was devoted until the end.
Chris confessed her love for Christ and began to show a capacity for caring and sharing with others that can only be a gift from God. She loved serving others, and the art of giving extended her ministry to its fullest potential. Her spirit of giving cannot be duplicated and her devotion for helping those in need with such daring and perseverance will leave an emptiness for her presence in all of us.
Chris’ Celebration of Life is scheduled for 3:00 pm at Lakeside Community Church, 16942 S. 10th Ave., Hanford, CA 93230-8811. Please contact the church for more information (559) 582-2382.
Our separation is only temporary….Our Love is Always Forever!
Chris, you came to serve, and serve you did. You served for love and in love you lived. You loved for life and in life you gave all of you.
