Ana Maria Flores, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, left this world on January 1, 2019 to be with our Lord our Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a farm laborer, and the best homemaker, wife, and caring loving mother. Ana Maria was born to Jose and Higinia Martinez in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico on August 5, 1934. Our mother married our father, Bertoldo Flores, on January 1, 1948, starting their life together in Donna, Texas. Traveling the United States they lived in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan before settling in Woodlake California in September 1958. Our parents were blessed with twelve children. Our beloved mother is survived by children: Guadalupe M. Flores (Anna), Martin Flores (Estela), Vira Soria (Eloy), Bennie Sanchez (George), Rose Mary De La Rosa (Anthony), Barbara Hurtado, Teresa Diaz (James), Luis Flores (Mercedes), Celeste Cruz (Fernando), 20 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Ana Maria Flores, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is now in heaven, but she will forever be in our hearts.
