EN EL CUIDADO DE
Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home & Rosewood Memorial Park
William Earl Waters, Jr., affectionately known as "Bill Jr." by his family, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in the loving arms of his mother.
Bill Jr. was born on August 29, 1968, to the late William Waters, Sr. and his wife Patricia. The tiny 6-pound baby with the pointy head grew into a handsome and charismatic man who made friends wherever he went. He was a graduate of Princess Anne High School and went on to work at the Film Factory for several years before moving on to BAE Systems in Norfolk where he remained for the last 14 years. His greatest passion, however, was going to concerts and taking the most bad-ass photos of bands the likes of The Rolling Stones, KISS, and Aerosmith. Bill was hard-working and dependable, and loved making people laugh.
In addition to his mother, Bill Jr. leaves behind his little sister and sometime concert buddy Tammy, along with his niece Justice "Quinn" Quirola. He is also survived by his sister Kim Barnes (Ron); nephews William and Robert; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, and cherished friends.
A service to celebrate Bill Jr.'s life will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 2:00pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home at 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm with the service and reception to follow.
