Thelma Louise Wilson

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Everett Wilson, Jr. She was a spiritual loving mother and an active member of Haygood United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She retired as an investigator for the credit bureau.

Survivors include six children, Linda Simmons and husband Vernon, Raymond Wilson, Karen Schipula and husband Frank, Michael Wilson and wife Brendee, Allen Wilson and Tina Tipton and husband Billy; a sister Joan Blair; seventeen grandchildren, Jessica Holcombe, Catherine Schipula, Mellisa Reliford, Holly Parish, Cristina Drewy, Michelle Nelson, Michael Wilson, Jr., Brandy Gallucci, Nichole Swan-Lambert, Kelly Blakely, Jay Blakely, Jana Millis, Barry Blakely, Erick Blakely, Linda Wilson, Heather Wilson and Jeremy Powers; and thirty-two great grandchildren, Colten Tipton, Brooke Tipton, Justin Reliford, Tye Reliford, Blakeli Parish, Cain Jimenez, Aiden Rabey, Austin Lambert, Mark Stevens, Christopher Nelson, Emma Nelson, Lilly Nelson, Jeremiah Wilson, Scott Wilson, Brenden Wilson, Levi Wilson, Nicole Dean, Raine Bronson, Andrew Drian, Tory Drain, Daniel Holcombe, Joseph Holcombe, Michael Drewy, William Millis, Chap Millis, Jessica Millis, Christopher Blakely, Daniel Blakely, Jessica Blakely, Kelly Blakely, Tammy Blakely and Jonathan Blakely.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Haygood United Methodist Church, 4713 Haygood Road, Virginia Beach with a celebration of life to be held at 2p.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
