Shirley V. Snead, 90, passed away on August 30, 2013. She was born on November 25, 1922 to the late Mary E. and Mack T. Young in Norfolk, VA. Her husband George Cecil Snead precedes her in death.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Snead; daughter, Sharon Baxter and her husband William; and 3 grandchildren, Bren, Bryce and Brooke Baxter.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 from 6-8pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
