Ruth Roberts Evans, 47, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on December 20, 2017.
A Chesapeake native, Ruth was a customer service representative with Optima Health.
Survivors include her daughter Ashley Nichole Powers and husband Chris; two granddaughters Abigail and Madelyn Powers; boyfriend and best friend Dale Mason; mother Linda Roberts Devincenzi; 2 brothers Charles and James Roberts; niece Brittany and husband Brandon and their children Marleigh and Cameron of NC; a cousin Sue Sue Ryan of GA; and fur baby Mixie.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
