Rose Berger Mollura

Norfolk - Rose Berger Mollura, 95, passed away June 13, 2017. She was born Feb. 15, 1922 in Coal Grove, OH to the late Harry William and Nora May Hughs Berger. Mrs. Mollura was a faithful working member of East Coast Gospel Lighthouse for 75 years. She served alongside her husband as he pastored Justice Gospel Assembly in Justice, NC for 6 years. Additionally Mrs. Mollura worked as a cosmetologist for 10 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Mollura; sisters, Mary Ann Melvin and Nora Lee Dolan; and grandson, Lance Dean.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Tom Mollura and wife Debbie; daughter, Joanne Dean and husband Chuck; grandchildren, Jerry Mollura and wife Cara, James Dean and wife Kim, and Angela Webber and husband Jeff; great-grandchildren, Jake, Ava, Christopher, Izabelle, Nick, Sami, Genna, Maggie, Aiden, Daniel, and Charles; great-great grandson, Carson; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Fri. June 16, 2017 at East Coast Gospel Lighthouse, 5747 Sellger Dr., Norfolk. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Sat. June 17, 2017 at the church with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to East Coast Gospel Lighthouse Building Fund.
