Robert Mitchell Swartout departed this world on Sunday, July 15, 2018, in Virginia Beach, VA. Mitch was born to the late Jack Mabry Swartout and Joy Virginia Payne on February 25, 1956 in Austin, TX. He enjoyed music and the Texas Longhorns, and spent the last 15 years living with his brother and sister-in-law in Virginia Beach, while enjoying fishing for spot and croaker in the Chesapeake Bay. Mitch is survived by his brother, Thomas M. Swartout, (wife) Ronna Swartout in Virginia Beach, VA, sister, Andrea Cole (husband) Brad Cole in Georgetown, TX, nieces Julie and Carley Whitson of Austin and Round Rock, TX, Kendyl Cole of San Antonio, TX and Violet Abbasi in Cedar Creek, TX. Private family services will be held in Austin, TX.
