Percy McPherson King Jr.

Percy "Mac" King, 83, of Virginia Beach, passed on November 7, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born in Carroll County, August 3, 1941, son of the late Percy and Mallie Neuman King. Mac was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed showing and racing cars. He raced the Quick Silver alcohol funny car in the late 70's to early 80's. He was best known as "the Chrome Guy" as he was in the chrome plating profession for over 60 years. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara King; son Lance King and his wife Melinda; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
