Pamela V. Wilson, 54, passed away on February 2, 2012. She was born on October 2, 1957 to the late Vivian H. and William Long, Jr. in New York City. Her husband Harry C. Wilson precedes her in death.
Pamela married her high school sweetheart Harry C. Wilson on October 20, 1978. She was a member of Paradise Baptist Church in New York for many years. She earned her nursing degree from City University of New York and worked at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NY as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse. Pamela moved to Clarksville, TN in 1996 where she formed many lasting friendships and attended First Baptist Church. In 2003 she moved to Virginia to enjoy her time with her daughters.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ja’Nay S. Young and husband Arthur, Gia Nicole Wilson and Seandashia Wilson; sister, Eleanor Gray; three grandchildren, Milan A. Young, Morgan C. Young and Isaiah M. Smallwood; and three nieces, Valerie D. Turner, Eula G. Edler, Nakkia S. Gray and nephew, Chuck Gray.
A visitation will be held on Feb. 10th from 6-8pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Feb. 11th at 11am at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may pay your condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com
