Michael James Callinan, Jr.

Michael James Callinan, Jr., 83, passed away on Thursday in Virginia Beach. He was a native of Bronx, NY, he enlisted in the Marine Corp and later retired from the Metropolitan Transit Authority in NY after 20 years of service. In his spare time, Mike loved bowling, fishing and spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his wife, Gloria Callinan and a daughter, Kathleen. He is survived by his children, John, Dawn, Kwame, Jason, Damen, Jeremy; sisters, Lynn and Pat; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. There will be a visitation from 6-8pm, Monday at Kellum Funeral Home. A service will be at 10am, Tuesday at Kellum Funeral Home with a burial 12pm at Albert G.
