VIRGINIA BEACH- Mary Ann Nash, 73, passed away on July 27, 2010.
Mrs. Nash was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edward F. Dowling and Margaret McDonnell Dowling. She retired from Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn as an administrator. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of fifty four years, David Richard Nash, Sr., six children, David Richard Nash, Jr., and his wife, Marcella Stafford of Monroe Bridge, Massachussetts; Edward John Nash, Sr., and his wife, Sonya Nash of Saddlebrook, New Jersey; Colleen Patricia Hirsch and her husband, Martin Hirsch of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Laurie Ann Korzeniewski and her husband, Henry Korzeniewski, Sr., of King & Queen County, Virginia; Thomas James Nash, Sr., of Brooklyn, New York; and Mary Beth Roosa and her husband, J. Wayne Roosa of Kingston, New York, seventeen grandchildren, Doreen Ann Nash, Jennifer Ann Korzeniewski, Shawn Patrick Nash, Martin John Hirsch, Erika Leigh Place, Rhiannon Michelle Pullman, Christina Marie Grimes, Melissa Anne Meehan, David Richard Nash III, Henry Francis Korzeniewski Jr, Edward John Nash Jr, Thomas James Nash Jr, Derek Mercado Jr, Tabitha Marie White, Tara Ann Nash, Molly Kay Gore and Caitlin Jane Nash; eleven great grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Angelica Santiago, Christopher Jordan Hirsch, Faith Ann Parker, Joshua Michael Nash, Ashlyn Rose Hirsch, Shayna Nicole Grimes, Alexander Jordan Nash, Makayla Marie Grimes, Conner Ryan Meehan, and Serenity Marie White; two brothers and a sister, Edward Dowling of Staten Island, New York; Kathleen Bryce of Melbourne, Florida; and Kevin Dowling of Howard Beach, New York.
A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 2, 2:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church by Father William Pitt. Inurnment will follow at the church columbraium.
