Marcia Ferguson Crawford

Marcia Crawford, beloved wife of Captain Roderick Crawford, USN Retired, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. She was born in Willis Wharf on the Eastern Shore of Virginia to Virginia Richardson Ferguson of New Jersey on September 10, 1940. She is survived by her Husband, step children; Kimberly Scott, Kendall Sheldon, Roderick Crawford Jr., Richard Crawford and her brother George Ronald Ferguson, his wife Patti, her nephew George Ronald Ferguson Jr and her niece Elizabeth Williams. Marcia was a civil servant holding positions at the Armed Forces Staff College, the Atlantic Division Engineers, Naval Training Command Norfolk, Naval Air Station Norfolk and Commander Naval Base Norfolk. She was active in clubs such as the American Business Women's Association, the Thoroughgood Garden Club and a Virginia Beach Needle Point Club. A Celebration of Marcia’s life will be held on Jan 4th, 2023 at 10:00am at Rosewood- Kellum funeral home 601 N. Witchduck Rd.
