 Obituario de Linda Morris Faville
Linda Morris Faville, 83, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in her sleep on January 15th, 2024. Linda was born on March 19th, 1940 to George and Alice Morris in Wilson, North Carolina. After graduating from Charles L. Coon High School in 1958, she went on to study Elementary Education at Atlantic Christian College where she was a cheerleader and basketball player! After graduation, she landed her first teaching job in Norfolk, VA at Norview Elementary where she taught 1st grade for many years alongside her favorite sister-in-law, Susanne Wilson. Linda enjoyed playing the piano, taking dance classes, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, taking care of her dogs, driving her sporty, red car, spending every summer day at Larkspur Swim and Racquet Club soaking up the sun in the pool and being a grandmother (Mimi) to her 4 grandchildren. We hope to carry her light, her spunk, her feistiness, and her compassion for children and animals with us. Linda is predeceased by her parents and her sisters, Barbara Nell and Peggy. She is survived by her two daughters, Amy (David) and Lori; and four grandchildren, Heather, Eric, Aiden and Kennedy and her sister-in-law (who was more like a sister), Susie. Services will be held on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. There will be a visitation at 9:00 am and a service at 10:00 am. This will be followed by a brief graveside service at Rosewood Memorial Park.
