Irene V. Hankins, age 100, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on Wednesday March 21, 2018. Irene was born November 10, 1917 to the late Leonard F. and Sallie H. Vass in New River, Virginia. Irene is predeceased by her husband, Smith E. Hankins and son, Darryl Hankins. She is survived by her sons, Barry and Kevin. A graveside service will be on Thurs., March 29, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk VA.
