Daniel Francis Murphy

Daniel Francis Murphy passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022. Danny was born to Daniel Murphy and Catherine Doyle Burnham on February 9, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Danny is preceded in death by his beloved wife of thirty-seven years Sandy Murphy. He is survived by his two sons Chris Harman and Patrick Murphy (and wife Amanda Kirkpatrick), daughter Katie Murphy (and significant other Nathan Harmon), three grandchildren Hailey Harman (and wife Christie Lindsay), Brendan and Owen Murphy, and two great grandchildren Connor and Molly Engle. “Murph” will forever be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father, world traveler, great joke and story teller, passionate teacher, and lover of pretzels and the news. A celebration of life will be held at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA. 23462 on Saturday, August 13th at 2:00 PM.
