Bobby Vail Davis

Bobby V. Davis, 82, passed away on April 17, 2021. He was born in Belhaven, North Carolina to the late Edna B. and Jasper R. Davis. Bobby was a Firefighter for Norfolk Fire Department. He also served in the US Navy. Bobby is survived by his wife, Shirley Davis; sisters, Dorothy DePorter (Bob), Nancy Christian (Bill), Joan Russ; and brother, Jack Davis (Jimmie). He is also survived by Amanda Newins (Brandon), Nicholas Gregory, Alyssa Gregory, Debora Gregory, James Wayne and several other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters Geneva Mason, Linda Johnson, and brother-in-laws Wayne Russ, Teeny Mason, and Don Johnson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Norfolk Fire-Rescue Museum at 401 E. Freemason St. Norfolk, VA 23510.
