Barbara M. Byrd, 67, went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2014 as she was surrounded by family and friends. She will be sorely missed by her family and the many friends she met along her pathway of life, as she never met a stranger.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 40 years, David; her loving sisters, Sandra M. Jones and Patricia M. Steadman and her husband, John; her god-children, Jeff Steadman and Michelle Jones; 2 grand-nieces, Morgan Collins and Adrianna Steadman; and her extended family, Ethel and Bobby Geier, and Kaitlin Hudy. She is predeceased by her father, Hiawatha Morrison, her mother, Ethel Hobgood Morrison; her brother, Ronnie D. Morrison; and brother-in-law, Kenneth E. Jones.
The family will be receiving friends at 11:00am on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, before the Celebration of Barbara's life which will begin at 12:00 noon. Entombment will be at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
