Richard "Scotty" Scott Williamson

Richard "Scotty" Scott Williamson, 62, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1961 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was employed by Triple S and always provided for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melinda "Mendy" Williamson of Nederland, Texas; mother, Rita Ann Church of Vinton, Louisiana; children, Ryan Williamson (Kayla) of Nederland, Texas, Jessica Williamson of Lake Jackson, Texas, Brandon Bulla (Sunny) of Healdton, Oklahoma, Dustin Bulla (Christy) of Wilson, Oklahoma, and Dylan Arnold of Nederland, Texas; brothers, Ricky Williamson (Ruby) of Mauriceville, Texas, Robbie Williamson (Amanda) of Orange, Texas, and Rusty Williamson (Brenda) of Vinton, Louisiana; along with seven grandchildren, Parker Williamson, Camryn Williamson, Memphis Bulla, Scarlette Bulla, Katelyn Bulla, Justus Bulla, and Ella Bulla; numerous nieces and nephews; along with great nieces and nephews.

Scotty is preceded in death by his father, Richard "Dickie" Williamson; step-father, Adam Church; along with his brother, Randy Williamson.

A Celebration of Scotty's life will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Vinton, Louisiana on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm, with Hixson Celebrant Jody Tyler. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery (Big Woods).
