Melesia Anne Young

Melesia Anne Young, 76, of Vinton passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. She was born in Edgerly on March 20, 1948 to Eva and Shelby Moody. She was an administrative clerk for many years and the music minister at OLGH. She enjoyed quilting. Most of all she loved her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Karen Young of Vinton, Alice Young of Vinton, and Sheryl O'Connor of Lacombe; grandchildren, Rebekah Giffen, Patrick O'Connor, Joseph O'Connor, and Kathleen Soteropulos; great-granddaughter, Caitlyn; and niece, Tricia Young.

Melesia is preceded in death by her husband, Don Young; parents, Eva and Shelby Moody; sister, Nina Glaze; and brothers, Robert Stewart, John Moody, and Aaron Moody.
