Jimmie Allen Jones

Jimmie Allen Jones passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the age of 78. Born December 18, 1945, to the late Duane A. Jones and the late Norma Jones.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years Vicki Ann Young Jones, his mother-in-law, Grace Marie Young, his son, Jimmie Jones, and his father, Duane Jones, and his mother, Norma Jones.

He is survived by his two sons, Duane Allen Jones (Lori) and Kelly Lee Jones (Dia). His grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, and Micah and his great grandchildren Sylise, Penelope, Clane, and Alyssa. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Rhonda Hebert and Robin Hebert (Alison). Devoted and loving Pawpaw to Ethan Hebert and Justin Crochet and “M” to Blake Hebert (Jessie), Hannah and Addison Hebert. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Keith Young (Penny), his sister Barbara Thibodeaux (Charles).

His greatest love was his family and especially “his boss” (wife Vicki) with whom he is now reunited. He loved a good steak dinner, the Saints, and Momo’s German Chocolate Cake.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 11 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Vinton, Louisiana on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The Rev. Dalton Haley will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until the time of service. Interment will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Pallbearers will be Duane Jones, Kelly Jones, Keith Young, Robin Hebert, Blake Hebert, and Ethan Hebert.
