Deborah Marie Breaux, 70, of Vinton, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Debbie was born on July 4, 1954 in Sulphur. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, nanny and friend to all. She was very passionate about her beloved animals. Most of all, Debbie enjoyed being with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, she enjoyed watching them play ball and attending any functions they were involved with. She now has the best seat in the house.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason O'Conner (Misty); granddaughter, Jaycie O'Conner; grandson, Dylan O'Conner; brother, Kenny Breaux (Jeannie); and sisters, Sandra Hebert (Wayne) all of Sulphur and Clara Kilgore (Tony) of Dayton, Texas.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Lambert and Verna Mae Breaux; son, Michael O'Conner; brothers, Lambert Breaux Jr, Bobby Breaux, and Ricky Breaux; and sister Martha Manuel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Deacon Jesse Menard will officiate. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:30 am to time of service on Wednesday in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton, with a public rosary at 8:00 am. Pallbearers will be Bill Benoit, Dusty Benoit, Darren Breaux, Ben Fox, Aaron Moody and John Simon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Debbie's honor.
