Larry Ward Brower

Larry was born on May 5, 1944 to John and Pauline (McJunkin) Brower in Salina, KS. Graduating from East High School in Sioux City, IA where he participated in football and weight lifting.

In 1965, he met Barbara Whitney, and they wed in 1965, going on to have three children, Brenda, Gregory, and Michele.

While in Sioux City, Larry worked for the Chevy and Ford dealerships as a mechanic, Rosenthal's, and Brower Construction before moving to California in 1985. After retiring from TMT Pathway in Los Angeles, Larry spent his time camping, going to the beach and mountains, working on cars (including his 55' Chevy), watching the Lakers, NASCAR, NHRA, and spending time with this grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Brenda (Maurice) Klemish, Michele Petrie, and son Greg (Lori) Brower, grandchildren Charles (Desiree) Petrie, Zach Klemish, Vince (Nicole) Petrie, Maddison (Austin) Klemish, Mason Petrie, great grandchildren Landon and Brayden Petrie, and Bexley VanSant, mother in-law Elvira Whitney, as well as extended family.

A funeral service for Larry will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Desert View Funeral Home, 11478 Amargosa Rd, Victorville, California 92392.
