Grant C. Larson, 53, of Victorville, California (formerly of Geneseo, Illinois), passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Providence St Mary’s Medical Center, Apple Valley, California.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Geneseo, Illinois area at a date and place yet to be determined.
Grant was born on October 1, 1969 in Moline, Illinois. He was a graduate of J.D. Darnell High School, Geneseo, Illinois, class of 1987. He enjoyed playing baseball and football during his school years. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army, before returning to the Geneseo area to work in various construction jobs. He later moved to Arizona, and then on to California, where he resided at the time of his passing.
Those left to cherish his memory are; his significant other, Carrie Lairmore, Victorville, CA, his daughter, Kennedy Larson, and grandson, Emiliano Hernandez, East Moline, IL, his mother, Sandra (Ralph) Tornes, Coal Valley, IL, his father Charles Larson, Geneseo, IL, his sisters, Nannette (Danny) Park, Fort Collins, CO and Kelly (Gene) Ward, Moline, IL, and his nephew, Ethan Park, Fort Collins, CO.
