It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Doris Edna Fusano, born on March 12, 1955, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to her proud parents, Samuel and Edna. Doris left us unexpectedly on October 9, 2024, in Victorville, California, leaving a profound void in the lives of her family and friends.
Doris was a devoted mother to her two beautiful children, Jennifer and Michael, who were her greatest joy. Her love and dedication to her family were unwavering, and she cherished every moment spent with them. For over 25 years, Doris made a significant impact in the medical field as a medical assistant, where her compassion and commitment to helping others shone brightly.
Having lived in the San Fernando Valley until 2002, Doris embraced the vibrant community and created lasting memories with her loved ones. Subsequently, Doris lived in both Redlands and Riverside for several years until finally settling in Hesperia.
Later in life, Doris developed a passion for sports, becoming an avid fan who found joy in cheering for her favorite teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Jets. Additionally, she embraced her creative side with her life-long love of cooking. Her dishes were always requested at parties and family functions. Some of her special recipes will always remain a family secret.
Doris will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind spirit, and the love she shared with everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Doris is survived by her two children, Michael and Jennifer, three grandchildren, Ian, Cody and Blake, and one great grandchild, Colton. She is also survived by three of her four siblings, Julie, Kathleen and Sam and four nieces and two nephews, Nanci, Sally, Kimberly, Jackie, Sam and Casey.
A memorial service to celebrate Doris's life will be held on October 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Victor Valley.
She will be deeply missed but will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Rest in peace, dear Doris.
