Donald Ray Foster

Donald Ray Foster, 85, and a 60 year resident of Adelanto, California passed away on March 22, 2016. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on April 8th, 2016, at Desert View Mortuary, 11478 Amargosa Road, Victorville, CA 92392. Pastor Dane Davis will conduct the services, and visitation will be at 1:30 pm. Donald was born in Hays Center, Nebraska on January 8, 1931, and was a graduate from Exeter High School. He thereafter enlisted in the USAF on July 13, 1951, and honorably retired while stationed at George Air Force Base, as a TSGT on December 1, 1972; spending his later years in construction and property maintenance for Foster Realty. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, and was a member of the Adelanto Lions Club, a Lifetime Member of the Ouray, Colorado Elks Club, and personally built the last two homes in which he resided. Donald was married to Charlotte Foster on March 8, 1952, and is survived by his Son, Ronald; daughter-in-law, Nancy; and Grandchildren, Geoff and Daniel, of Culver City, CA; nephews Bruce, Greg; niece, Rebecca Prentice. Donald is preceded in death by his father, Robert “Doyle”; his mother, Elsie; his brother, Max; and his wife Charlotte.
