Bruce Vachel Brown

March 24, 1926. - February 21, 2020

Bruce was born in Burkhart, OK and proudly served his country in WWII. Bruce and his wife Berdie lived in San Jose for over 35 years and he retired there after a 25 year career with GE.

He was a friendly, warm, generous, fun loving man with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He enjoyed life with family, friends and church. Golf, dancing, traveling, and card games brought Bruce much happiness and joy.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by devoted daughter Linda Stewart and husband Jim of Indian Land, SC; granddaughters Michelle Stewart and husband Jan of Zoersel, Belgium; Cindy Buff and husband Jon of Waxhaw, NC and great granddaughter Maddy Buff. He is also survived by his brother Loney Brown of Riverside, CA and sister-in-law Sylvia Klein of Victorville, CA as well as many nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Desert View Memorial Park, 11478 Amargosa Rd, Victorville, CA 92392

The family will receive family and friends at 10:00 and service at 11:00.
