Victor Reyna, 85, of Victoria passed away August 8, 2014. He was born March 23, 1929, in Wood Hi to the late John P. and Concepcion Rosas Reyna. Mr. Reyna was retired from Alcoa where he worked for over 30 years as a supervisor. He was a loving husband, Korean Veteran, farmer and rancher, great dad, grandfather and master gardener.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Flores Reyna of Victoria; daughters, Debbie Cardenas and husband, David of Telferner, Victoria Garcia and husband, David of Victoria and Danielle Long of Victoria; sons, Lawrence Wayne “Larry” Reyna and Roy Reyna both of Victoria; sisters, Mary Williams of Concord, California, Cecelia Garcia of Victoria, Sue Garcia of Victoria and Alicia McAtee of Victoria; brother, John Reyna of California; ten grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
The family received friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. A Rosary followed at 7:00 pm.
A memorial mass was held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral with Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Flag folding and taps were conducted by the Victoria Veterans Council.
