Soila Reyes

Soila Reyes, age 78, of Bloomington, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, with rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Bloomington, with graveside following at San Jose Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Lupe Deleon, Eric Raby, Chuck Deleon, Adam Luna, Azreal Mendoza, Antony Mendoza, Jacob Mendoza and Christian Morales.

Soila was born December 2, 1945 in Bloomington, Texas to the late Felix Luna, Jr. and Paula Escalante Luna. She loved her family unconditionally and was an amazing grandma. She loved dancing and going out with her friends. She was very "top of the line". She loved to travel with her husband and cook for her family and friends. She liked to be outside working in the yard. She loved her faith in the Lord and her dog, Miss Daisy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend and she will be truly missed by all.

Soila is survived by her son, Paul Canales, Jr.; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers; Raymond Luna (Elena) and Ernest Luna (Rosie); and sisters-in-law, Virginia Luna and Connie Luna.

Soila was preceded in death by her husband, Arnulfo Reyes, Jr.; daughter, Anna Michelle Canales; first husband, Paul Canales, Sr.; father, Felix Luna, Jr.; mother, Paula Escalante Luna; sisters, Mary Raby (Harvey) and Lillie Galindo; and brothers, Leonard Luna (Aguida), Robert Luna, Johnny Luna, Santiago Luna and Delfino Luna.
