Coach Johnson was a kind and thoughtful teacher, coach, mentor who we all respected. As the years passed and I would see him, he always asked about what I was doing and how my family was and we always parted with a laugh and a smile.......that is how I remember him! I'm gonna miss you Mr Johnson...so much...the first one I'd go see when I first got to work and the last one I'd see before I'd leave. You're the only one that made me feel like I was a part of your family. You have the best family. Mrs Johnson with her sillyness and Troy and his girls with their kindness. I will take good care of your wife, just like I did you. You don't have to ever worry about that. I got you!........Mr Johnson had asked me, about a week ago, if I had a grandpa. I said, no. I lost all my grandparents already. He said, "I'll be your grandpa"....and he looked over at his wife and said, "she'll be your grandma!" I'm gonna miss that cute little grin he always had when me and Mrs Johnson were being silly! She said something one day and made him laugh and he said, "oh I love you guys!" I'm really really gonna miss him. To Mrs Johnson, Troy and the girls......he's walking around in heaven now, smiling down on the awesome family he has!
