Martha Niria Salazar, 40, of Victoria passed away Sunday, October 3, 3010. She was born December 27, 1969, in Weslaco to Catarino and Maria Garza Salazar. She was a Lasik coordinator for the Victoria Eye Center. She was also a member of Faith Family Church.
Survivors include her parents; sons, Gabriel Gonzales and Brandon Portela; sisters, Karina Perez and her husband, Joey, and Erika Walton and her husband, Clay; niece, Adrianna Alvarez, all of Victoria.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 Mockingbird Lane in Victoria.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, October 8, 2010, at Faith Family Church on Mockingbird Avenue, Rev. Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gabriel Gonzales, Freddy Trevino, Clay Walton, Joey Perez, Felipe Salazar and Frank Salazar.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor' choice.
