Mark Michael Walsh

Mark Michael Walsh, age 61, of Victoria, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 5-7PM at Colonial Funeral Home, with rosary beginning at 7PM. Funeral mass will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10AM at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory, with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Chris Nichols, Brad Ruth, Keyshawn Morales, Travis L. Tucker, Danny Salas and Travis Serna.

He was born June 17, 1961 in Hackensack, NJ to the late Thomas Joseph Walsh and Leslie Winter Stoltz. He was a Master Diesel Mechanic. He was the "man to go to" and guru about 18 wheeler trucks. He loved horses, being outside, fishing, BBQ's and especially his family. He never met a stranger and was always helpful. He gave advise on many occasions about cars and 18 wheeler trucks and always had an "open door policy". Mark had a passion for Nascar races. He watched it every Sunday. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.

Mark is survived by his wife of 39 years, Veronica Monroe Walsh; daughters, Ashley Ann Silvas (Roland) and Caitlin Delaney Walsh; son, Steven Anthony Walsh; brother, Thomas L. Walsh; sisters, Cheryl Ragas (Paul), Susan Duncalf (Robert), Andrea Corso (Richard), Dianne Stoltz Orielly, Kerry Willett (James) and Kelly Walsh; brothers-in-law, Johnny Monroe and Longino "Gino" Monroe; sisters-in-law, Mary Pereira, Frances Monroe, Loretta Monroe, Carolina "Carrie" Jennings and Laura Solomon; and grandchildren, Arianna M. Silvas, Samantha R. Silvas, Emmanuel R. Silvas and Gabriel L. Silvas. Mark also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Walsh and Leslie Stoltz; and brothers-in-law, Michael A. Monroe and Frank Monroe.
