Linda was raised in Hallettsville with her five brothers, Donald Lee, Wayne, Richard (Dick), Ralph and David. She cherished her childhood and the wonderful memories of growing up in a loving home.
Linda lived her life full of energy and always had a smile on her face, and something funny to say. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, tending her many animals - her dogs, horses, and cattle, being outside with her plants, and she was always ready for a shopping trip. She touched the lives of many people and was a joy to be around.
She was very special her family and will be deeply missed by husband, Joe Lee Evans; son, Jeff and Shannon Evans; daughter, Kim and Mark Phillips; grandchildren, Makayla Evans and Garrett Evans; and many extended family members.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m., Monday evening.
