Joel Wayne Yaws Jr.

Joel was born September 22, 1969, in Palacios, Texas. He was a man of conviction and dedication to the things he loved dear. He overcame unsurpassable odds. He loved going out of the boat to ski the lake or just cruise through the salty air in the ocean. He was a jack of all trades and a master tinkerer. He was an amazing crane operator. He was a devoted father and friend and will be missed by all.

Joel is survived by his daughter, Lacey Yaws (Heath Hunt); son, Sterling Yaws; father, Joel Wayne Yaws, Sr.; and his 4-legged friend, Traxx.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Barber.
