Jay F. Williams, 77, of Victoria passed away September 10, 2024. He was born August 8, 1947, to J. Fred and Altie Lee Bythewood Williams. Jay worked at DuPont as an Instrumentation Specialist and was a member of Victoria First Church of the Nazarene. Jay had a love for God and his community and was always reaching out to help others. He was an avid motorcycle rider, loved the outdoors, and listening to vinyl music. He played the guitar and enjoyed playing in the praise and worship team at his church.
He is survived by his daughter, Allison Cleveland; grandchildren, Cody Cleveland and Cheyenne Cleveland; and dear friends, Jody Turowski and Larry Casdorph.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Sonny Williams.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 20, 2024, at 9:00 am at Victoria First Church of the Nazarene followed by funeral services at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
The pallbearers will be Cody Cleveland, Micah Este, Larry Casdorph, Keith Bitterly, Dennis Blalock, and John Wardel.
