Georgia Raska Rogers

Georgia Raska Rogers, 80 of Victoria passed away after a very short illness on Friday, August 24, 2018. She was born August 21, 1938 in Sinton, TX to Charlie and Stevie Barecky Raska. Georgia was retired from the medical field. She loved traveling worldwide making new friends along the way. Georgia loved her family and many friends, and she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her children, Dr. Richard (Cindy) Rogers of Victoria, Charles D. Temple of Arkansas; brother, Harrison (Doris) Raska of Victoria; sister-in-law, Mildred Raska of Victoria and two grandchildren, Kelly (Michael) Moore and Michael (Leigh) Rogers.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus H. Rogers, a son, Steven Temple and three brothers, Bennie, Charlie and Joe Raska.

A memorial service will be 2 PM Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Mission Valley with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating.
