Elsie Ruth Cole

Elsie Ruth Cole, 85 of Victoria went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2016 surrounded by her family. Elsie was born August 5, 1930 in Pontiac, Michigan to Oscar Porter and Myrtle Romine Porter Nagel. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and her life accomplishment was raising her family.

She leaves behind her husband, Emmett Cole, Jr; her daughters, Sandy (Bill) Sciba, Cheryl (Mike) Olson; sons, Wes (Barbara) Cole, Jim (Donna) Cole, Chuck (Danna) Cole all of Victoria; sister, Gene Russell of Lovelady; Martha Gene Porter, a cousin that was raised like a sister to Elsie; 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her step-father, Louis Nagel.

A Celebration of Elsie’s life will be 10 AM Monday, July 25, 2016 at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Ewing and Rev. Matt Sciba officiating.
