Donna L. Thompson, 65, passed away on October 1, 2016. She was born on July 23, 1951 in Victoria, TX to the late Aaron Donald Maretick and Tillie Ola Maretick. Donna was a loving mother/grandmother and enjoyed her days spent as a “retired crab lady.”
She is survived by her daughter, Shawna Nicole Thompson of Victoria, TX; son, Jason Brent Thompson of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Isaac Christopher Ortiz and MacKenzie Leigh Montgomery; and brothers, Robert Maretick of Bloomington, TX and Morris Maretick of Victoria, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Brent Thompson.
Family and friends will gather to honor Donna at a Memorial Service on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Bayfront Pavilion in Seadrift, TX with a reception to follow.
