Cecil Lee Elkins

Cecil is survived by his daughters, Evelyn Miller and her husband, Dennis, of Alvin, Maxine Fox and her husband, Harry, of Victoria and Shirley Parker and her husband, Fess, of Georgia; sons, Donald G. Elkins and his wife, Gail, of Pasadena and Ronald J. Elkins and his wife, Pam, of Victoria; sister, Abys Guines of Beaumont; brothers, Daniel Elkins of Giddings and Melvin Elkins and his wife, Faye, of Beaumont; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace Evelyn St. John Elkins, his second wife, Robbie Curton Elkins; sister, Flossie Miller and brothers, Festus Elkins, Novis Elkins and Jay Elkins.

A time of visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at the Colonial Funeral Home in Victoria.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday February 21, 2011, at the Colonial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Adopt-A-Pet or a charity of the donor’s choice.
