Ross was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and William (Bill) Cramp.
He is survived by his partner of 28 years, Pat Benbow and by his children, Adam Cramp and Beth Benn (Greg), his four grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan, Allie, and Hunter, his 2 sisters Judy (Don), Brenda (Luigi) and his brother, Terry (Ruby) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved grand-dog, Diesel.
Ross was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in November of 1948 and moved to Victoria BC in 1968.
He enjoyed golfing, camping, road trips, desserts and more than anything else, laughter. Ross will be forever remembered for his incredible sense of humour. He loved listening to music and would sing along even if he didn’t know the words.
He was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and partner who loved his family deeply and unconditionally. He had more humor than we can ever express. He loved his children, and Pat more than we will ever know, and he was the best father and grandfather you could ever ask for.
Ross worked at Tillicum Furniture in the 80’s then Eaton’s in the 90’s, followed by Sleep Country from the early 2000’s to 2020 when he officially retired.
Ross will be deeply missed by all who knew him and all whose lives were made forever brighter by his presence.
A celebration of life will be planned at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Flirting with Fido (https://flirtingwithfido.ca/) in Ross’ name.
