It is with sadness that the family of Rita Green announce her passing on September 1st, 2022 at Royal Jubilee.
Rita was born in Bury, Sussex, England on September 22nd, 1937. She is predeceased by her husband, George. She will be sorely missed by daughters Bonnie and Brenda, Son Brad, Stepsons Gary and Fred, spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rita was an active member of the Vintage Car Club and Vinettes (Victoria Chapter), founding member of the WPC Club (Victoria Chapter) and a friend to all she met. The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Veras and Reena, the Community Nursing Program, the Jubilee Hospital 5 South staff, and the palliative care doctors. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Memorial, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria on Sept. 22 , 2022 at 2pm .
