We are saddened to hear of Nerdev’s passing. Remembering Nerdev is easy. We had first met Nerdev and Jas through mutual friends, she was always so kind and fun to be with. Our thoughts are with Jas and family. Nerdev will be greatly missed. Please accept our sincere Condolences. 



Nerdev was such a kind hearted soul. I worked with her for several years and she was always very helpful and kind. Always eager to share a story about her children. Gone much too soon. Rest In Peace

It's hard to believe such a strong, resilient person could be taken much too early. Nerdev was so caring, so generous, and so thoughtful. She instantly made you feel like family, with her warmth and concern for your wellbeing. I remember countless delicious dinners, day trips to provincial parks, and small Island towns, and good chats about future plans. My mom thought so highly of her and our whole family will miss her dearly. 

It was obvious that Taryn, Asha and now her two grandsons were her pride and joy. I know you will carry her legacy forward and continue to make her proud. We're sending all our love to your family during this time of intense grief. 

I am so honoured to have known Nerdev.  She was who we should all aspire to be and truly she was a beautiful soul. Strong and intelligent,  standing up for what she believed in, but SO full of love and compassion for all. And oh how she loved her family. She was always incredibly proud of them and I always loved seeing photos and hearing stories. Her presence here will be missed by all, but indeed a great soul never dies. I send so much love to you Jas, and to your kids and family.

I knew Nerdev from 15 years ago when I was new in Canada. My family and I had the privilege of staying with her family at their home in Nanaimo. I got to know her well. Every time  I meet her, she would always have that gentle smile on her face. She was indeed a very hospitable and  lovely person, full of kindness and life.  I shall miss you dearly. I have had the pleasure of meeting Nerdev as Taryn and Daniel were about to get married in 2010. She struck me as being a strong, wise and loving woman who cared deeply about people around her. All our family is deeply sorry for her passing and are all-heart with you in these difficult times.

We'll always remember Nerdev as fiercely loving, supportive, generous, and strong. It was a true honour to be even a small part of her life. From the moment I met her, shortly after arriving in Canada, she treated me like family, and she was family to us in the 13 years we knew her. She hugged and helped us in times of need, and cheered from the rooftops in times of celebration. We'll love and miss you always, Nerdev. May you rest in grace and peace.
