Predeceased by his father Cyril on November 22, 1990 and mother Elaine on October 2, 2004. Larry is survived by his wife Gail; children, Leah (James), Gillisha, Michael (Kiana), and Amie; grandchildren, Seamus, Cian, and Maximus; siblings, Don (Alison) and Linda (Ron); nephews and nieces, Brandon (Natalie, Brooke, Logan, Skye), Devon (Bryan, Lincoln, Blake), and Katelyn; his cousins; the entire Edgington family; and his dog, Merlin, and cat, Leo.
Larry and Gail married in 1988. They lived in Victoria with their three children. Larry worked for Highway Maintenance from 1974 until he retired in 2013. He loved bringing home stray animals from work for the children, and he loved his bargain hunting shenanigans which everyone in the family was a recipient to. His summers were spent camping and boating with his family. Boating on the ocean or lake was his happiest place. He loved to spend his time at Paradise Village in Honeymoon Bay, Lake Cowichan. Family was very important to Larry, and he loved to have family gatherings or friends over for a barbecue. His laughter was very contagious and his love for 70's music shined through his dance moves.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services & Garden of Memories, 4725 Falaise Drive, on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 10:00am.

Rest In Peace Larry, "who loves you babe."
