went to be with her Lord in the presence of her brother Bob at 2:05 a.m., June 16th at Victoria Hospice, after a long struggle with cancer. Irene was born November 13, 1937. Irene spent her whole working career in forestry, at BC Forest Products and Croftech. She worked in both Victoria and Vancouver until her retirement in 1995, when she moved back to Victoria, where she resided on Glenora Place in Saanich. Irene is predeceased by her father Robert Ingham (1980) and mother Catherine Munroe Ingham (nee Paton). She leaves behind her brother Bob, cousins Peter & Roberta, Mike & Irene, Heather & Bill, Steve, Gary, Marjorie, Nanette, and Barbara Walton, Carol Anne (Scotland) and Mark Paton (New Zealand). Irene loved to shop, travel, attend garage sales, meet her Tim Horton’s friends, travel to Parksville and listen to anyone for advice and support. Thanks to all care providers, doctors and nurses, EMIs and friends who supported her on her journey. A memorial service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive, on June 26 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Royal Oak Burial Park mausoleum.
