It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppe (Joe) at the age of 82, on November 30, 2024. Born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy. Joe is survived by his loving wife Vincenza, daughter Anna (Victor) granddaughter Amelia, Lucia (Jason) grandchildren: Aiden, Giulia, son Mario, siblings Carolina, Maria, Rodolfo, Bianca, nieces and nephews.
Joe’s working years were spent at Yarrows later Victoria Shipyard as a master welder, he was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Joe was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather. His love for opera and hard work had no bounds. His dry sense of humour and love for his family will always be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services 4725 Falaise Drive Victoria, BC V8Y 1B4. Entombment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Flowers gratefully declined instead consider a donation to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital in his name.
