Elsie will always be remembered for her marvelous, sometimes cheeky sense of humor and her welcoming, amiable nature. Until the past few years when her memory was stolen by dementia, Elsie had a passion for travel and visiting with family and friends. When her boys were young, she and Rae spent their summers camping. Later, they transitioned to trailering and experienced many adventures together throughout North America, and later traveled abroad to visit extended relatives from the old country. More recently, Elsie regularly visited her cabin at Kenosee Lake, SK where she enjoyed laughter filled visits with family and close friends.
A service was held on July 18, 2021 during a family reunion in Wawota, SK which was attended by many friends and family. She will be laid to rest at the Highview Cemetery beside her husband Rae and her son Bob.
