On March 25, 2021 at age 93 Dorsey passed away peacefully in Victoria, British Columbia with family by her side. Dorsey was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario to William and Juanita Slater. She lived a vibrant life full of family and adventure. Dorsey was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Reed and son-in-law Allan Cassidy. She leaves behind her daughter Penny Cassidy, grandsons Reed Cassidy (Aneesa) and Brendan Cassidy, granddaughter Deirdre Mallet (Daniel), and great-grandsons Carter and Brady Mallet and Ford Cassidy. Dorsey had an undeniable zest for life and a great love for her family. We would like to thank the staff of both Glengarry Hospital and Carleton House, who she surely kept on their toes.
