Christopher John Tetlow was born on December 2nd, 1965 in Calgary AB and died suddenly in Victoria, BC on June 28th, 2023. He is survived by parents, Andria and Brian Tetlow and brothers Keith and Bruce (Natalie).
Chris was educated to a grade 5 level in Victoria and worked as a paperboy, gardener, dishwasher, and cleaner. Despite his limited cognitive abilities, he was a loyal and dedicated friend to many including other disadvantaged members of our community and always brought joy wherever he went. He was a social being who cherished the peaceful company of all animals especially his pet rats, Cybil, Gizmo and Louie whom he now joins. His other pleasures included riding his e-bike, exploring in his power boat, smoking weed, camping with his family and playing cards such as Crazy 8’s and video games such as Bowling. He led a solitary life but a good one and will be deeply missed by his loving and supportive family and friends.
Chris lived his life to the full, but sadly took one risk too many. He was fortunate to be with his loving girlfriend Jen in his final moments.
