Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, of 54 years; two daughters, Gailene Given of Kelowna, and Valerie McIvor of Penticton; one son, Gordon (Darlene) of Vernon; eight grandchildren: Brianna, Kaitlynn, Brenndan,
Kelsey, Robbie, Calvin (Jolene), Jordan, and Evelyn: great granddaughter, Rebecca; two sisters, Barbara (Harold) Sande of Wetaskiwin, AB, and Lucille Coates of Red Deer, AB; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bob was predeceased by two brothers, Bill and Harold and two sisters, Edith Miller, and Annie Bowtenheimer.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Thompson officiating. A reception will follow in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.
