Passed away on Jan. 17th at Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 65. You had lived with Multiple Sclerosis for over 46 years but no one ever heard you complain, and you always had a smile for everyone that you met. When your MS went into remission in 1975 you worked as a corrections officer in Fort Smith in the N.W.T. for 10 years until your MS forced you to retire in 1985, and at that time, you moved to Parker Cove near Vernon, and that is when we met.
For the last eleven years you were cared for by the staff at Polson Extended Care facility in Vernon, and those good folks often told me that your smile always made their work a little easier.
Patricia I love you, and will miss you terribly. Also left to mourn your passing is your brother Leroy, your daughter Samantha, granddaughter Regan, my own two daughters Tracy and Donna, and all who knew and loved you.
See you later Pat.
